LALL London SS11 Fashion Film (Vauxhall Fashion Scout) with some jewels by Imogen Belfield

A few months ago, I was delighted to be invited by LALL London to include some of my latest jewellery designs in a short film that they were producing for an exclusive premiere for Vauxhall Fashion Scout at the Freemasons Hall during London Fashion week Sept '10.

The shoot took place in the heart of the London Docklands, and the set was a buzzing hub of activity, with directors, designers, stylists, make-up artists, producers,...you name it, they were all there... for a solid day of filming under the direction of Monica Elkelv.

It was a delight to meet the lovely Tim Chketiani, founder of Charkviani, who creates magical taxidermy shoes and whose breath-takingly stunning 'Dove' shoes are shot in the film.

" ORNITHORIUM" by LALL LONDON, "features diaphanous silk chiffon and crepe vests, tunics and dresses. Designs inspired by exotic birds such as flamingos, humming birds and swans are sequined and beaded on by hand, giving a lighter take on luxury. Colours are warming like a low sun setting, with tangerine, ivory, chai and rose pink. Silhouettes are minimalist yet fully embellished in silks, carrying on the casual-luxe style of LALL London."

We are ecstatic that the latest Selfridges campaign for the New Shoes Gallery, has bejeweled its advertisement with Imogen Belfield jewellery ... a real thrill to say the least !!

The pieces chosen were the 'Plasma' ring and the 'Double Nuggets' necklace from the Equilibrium and Rockoco collections; that are stocked at the dashingly wonderful KABIRI concession in the Wonder Room at Selfridges, London ...
